Ussher Assistant Professor in Future Networks
The School of Computer Science and Statistics wishes to appoint an Ussher Assistant Professor in Future Networks. The successful candidate will have a genuine commitment to research-led teaching and a proven research track record in all areas related to communication networks. Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates working in areas that complement existing activity such as the mathematics of networks (applied probability, optimisation, graph theory), wireless networks (small cells, 5G, Internet of Things), optical/Wireless integration, network virtualization, data analytics and data privacy. The post holder will join a vibrant School, top ranked in Ireland, and will have the opportunity to be affiliated with the CONNECT national SFI research centre for future networks which is hosted by the School.
Appointment will be made at a maximum of the 8th point of the New Assistant Professor Merged Salary Scale.
